"MeKer" pronounced (me-care) is a combination of the names of our founders Meshell and Kera.

 

When visiting MeKer you will be offered a variety services including: hair styling, extensions, threading, and makeup application.

Individually, Meshell and Kera are accomplished and highly recognized in the world of hair and beauty. Together, they dominate the Austin beauty market with their combined knowledge and experience of over thirty years. These best friends of 20 years, had a goal of making women feel beautiful and stylish; they decided to work together and open a luxury salon for clientele of all types. Attracting women of color throughout Texas and beyond, MeKer Beautique has become the premiere salon of Austin and it's surrounding metro area.
